Visitors Plaza

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site and to plan a visit to the plaza.

Our commitment

Visitors Plaza is committed to making thevisitorsplaza.com usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and we treat that standard as the baseline for every page we publish, in line with our obligations under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have done

  • Every page uses semantic landmarks — header, navigation, main and footer — with a “skip to main content” link as the first item you reach by keyboard.
  • All functionality works with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
  • Text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background, and interface elements meet at least 3:1.
  • Links are distinguishable by more than colour alone: outbound links are underlined and carry an arrow.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • The plaza map is a graphic, so the same information is repeated beside it in plain text.
  • Live opening status is announced as text, not colour alone.
  • Scroll animations are switched off automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limits

This site links out to four independently operated businesses. We do not control the accessibility of worldfoodtrucks.com, visitorsfleamarket.com or machinegunamerica.com, and the embedded Google map is a third-party component. If you hit a barrier on one of those, please tell us anyway and we will pass it on.

Accessibility at the plaza itself

The plaza is a single-level property with a surface parking lot and marked accessible spaces near the building entrances. Each business sets its own arrangements inside its space; the fastest way to check something specific — a ramp, a restroom, a service animal question — is to call ahead.

Tell us about a problem

If any part of this site or a visit to the plaza is difficult for you, contact us and we will work with you to get you the information you need in another format.

We aim to respond within three business days. Tell us the page address and what went wrong, and we will confirm what we are doing about it.
